Wordpress Design Brief

We have built a site at smartappsforandroid.com, but it is missing several elements and several don't work. I even like the color scheme we have. I do not know to do too much with code so if there is anything I need to do, it must be very minimal.

We essentially want what is there with:

1) a small column on the left side for categories, which are currently bottom right
2) space for a 728-90 banner ad at the top under the menu below the logo
3) drop down menus under the top logo that actually work
4) the top menu (where we have ages), the logo, the drop down menus and the 728-90 banner all need to space together neatly
5) the top logo needs to center
6) under the title of each post on the home page it says "comment and reactions." I'd like reactions removed since I have no idea what they are.
7) must be able to accept all widgets
8) I need a simple way to access the code to the top banner ad when it is placed to change as needed

That's about it other than any suggestions to make it better. I like clean and simple in blog format.
