Logo Design Brief

Mondil is a company specializing in products for travel organization. The name "Mondil" is formed from the founder's names and coincidentally it evokes the latin word for "world". We are looking for an innovative, clever logo, that can help make our products stand out. We don't want to tie ourselves to closely to an industry if we branch out, but the "world" aspect may be universal enough to suit our needs.

Nice to have

• One of the founders has submitted a sketch idea that we'd like to see elaborated on. The sketch basically plays on the idea of environmental friendliness and the world by showing a heart-shaped leaf in front of a blue sphere representing the earth, and the letters M and D distinct in the design of the leaf. We'd like to see this design taken into a creative direction that yields a logo that is simple yet memorable. We'd like a logo that can be available in both a beautiful design but also can be easily converted into an icon such that customers will easily recognize the icon as our logo. The name "Mondil" need not match how it is shown in the attached sketch. We'd like the name to be displayed in a distinctive Sans-Serif font that does not suggest similarities to existing brand logos. It should be a modern looking logo, not something that suggests a time period in the past.
