Packaging Design Brief

We are looking for a creative wine label designer to extend our California wine brand (Truffle) with three new wine labels (varietals: Chardonnay, Mascato & Sweet Red). This project is alot about color selection. Final label art should include front and back label design. You should work with our existing label. There is no need to re-create the entire design. Most of the work is already complete. The deal candidate should extend our product line designs with color variations and text for the most part. Final designs should be applied to blank bottle images found in the downloads. New packaging should continue with the design style and format to compliment total wine package. need your help! If you are talented, creative and have good sense of humor we want you to submit your design. Best entries will be reworded and there may be a possibility to become one of the designers on our creative team.

We attached current label designs. We want our new Truffle labels to look very similar to current. All artwork is avaiable to recreate and change text. Please check out other high profile brands such as Barefoot or Gallo to see portfolio extension ideas.
We are open to recreation of the original label for line extension.
We would like for submitted labels to adhere to COLA standards but creative designers should not be discouraged from submitting proposals even if they are unfamiliar with COLA labeling rules. Goverment Warning Statement requirments (COLA) can be found in existing label. You should just need to copy and paste.We can modify the labels for regulatory reasons as needed.
Final Art should be provided in AI file format.

Must have

• Truffle Logo, Goverment label warning on back (copy provided), descriptive charactiristics to wine, sub brand title on front, top capsule utilize the truffle logo as seen on Merlot. Copy and text to be utilized is provided. Descriptives can be altered, open for suggestions. Color of labels are going to be key factors. See Gallo, Cupcake, Barefoot designs for ideas. Nice to have

• final label image imposed on wine bottle for total look and feel. Bottle colors and wine colors drastically change appearance of line extension. Open to capsule color changes. PMS colors to be slightly altered after design is chosen and capsule is matched.

• busy feel or look. not too wordy
