Logo Design Brief

Luxurious, hand woven quality scarves, wraps, baby blankets and fabrics created to appeal to luxury, designer label loving customers. 100% natural luxury fibres - cashmere, silk, merino, alpaca. All products are hand loomed to create a unique, stylish, modern, luxury product to be treasured and handed down through generations (hence the name Eirloom - a twist on Heirloom) . I need a logo to enhance the product as it will be the sewn in label on each item, on packaging, website and business cards. It must exude luxury and style. Liking the idea of perhaps a script font along with other stylish modern options. Colours to be neutral cream, beige, gold, silver. Soft and luxurious. You want to wrap yourself in the luxury of an Eirloom scarf or wrap. Indulgence. The scarves are clean, natural and simple and I would like the logo to ooze that feel.

Women wanting luxury 100% natural scarves for themselves and babies. Wedding wraps too. Women in the higher socio economic group from 25 upwards.

Requirements

Must have

• A luxurious quality feel. The logo must be dark (dark charcoal, black, steel grey) with soft background and stand out on neutral scarves as the 5 colour ranges are creme, beige, mint, soft blue and pinks. The logo will form part of the product as a label. Logo needs to stand out (font not in pastel) and maybe incorporate stitching so it has the handmade feel to show authentic 100% natural fibres. Preferring a script font but not too upright.

Nice to have

• Perhaps a script font or a font that personifies wealth and luxury. Something you are proud to wear that is not over the top. Soft and natural. Maybe try with a border around the logo that looks like stitching (like that on a garment).

Should not have

• Loud, bold or in your face. No bright colours.
