Graphic Design Brief

We are the Rio Vista Chamber of Commerce in Rio Vista, CA. We are holding our 68th annual Bass Derby & Festival. We seek a logo that can be used for a 3 day event. The logo will be used to go on shirts and advertising for the event. The logo must have the name of the event, year and 68th Annual in the design. We are looking for the design with a Striped Bass and possibly a hump back wale. It is the 30th anniversary of the Humphrey the wale visiting our town in N. Californian. Our event is Rio Vista Bass Derby & Festival. Our website is www.bassfestival.com, the 2014 logo in in the upper right corner. The Derby & Festival includes, Fishing Derby, Car Show, Carnival, Parade & Soap Box Derby.

Requirements

Must have

• Wording: Rio Vista Bass Derby & Festival, 2015, 68th Annual
• Graphic: Striped Bass, possibly a humpback wale, if a wale is used maybe a "30th anniversary of Humphrey" could be added. We've attached whimsical wale we liked but doesn't have to be used.

Nice to have

• Located on the Sacramento River, has an iconic Bridge. Maybe one color to keep printing costs down, but not necessary. Should appeal to a wide range of ages. Design should be on the more masculine side than feminine, most shirts are purchased by male/fishermen. We make a separate shirt for women that doesn't include this design. Possibly the festival dates, Oct 9-11th, 2015. Could include any of the event that are also going on: Car Show, Soapbox Derby, Parade, Carnival.
