Well, this is odd and a first for me. I assume you are then aware that the respective printer (regardless it's off-set print or a laser printer) will convert it anyway to CMYK in the print process, as all prints are using substractive color model because if the white paper and ink substraction (unlike monitors which are using additive color model)...
Sounds like you know more than me. I have only ever submitted RGB to my printer but if this is what he does anyway and you're sure this is standard do it your way.
It is not about a standard. It's that RGB is for monitors and CMYK is for prints. It's about color theory and how it is formed on the black monitor (RGB) and on the paper (CMYK).
If you do know the printer model, and you are afraid the existing RGB images can loose color from our CMYK conversion, then a solution would be to let us know the exact printing system and then we can decide the best way for RGB images conversion, using the specific printer model CMYK color space.
But other than this (existing RGB images), I am positive it is CMYK.
Whatever. If you''d like to work on the design, then let''s see something and leave the printing to my printer.
Portrait opening on the fold is a must? Landscape is not acceptable at all?
Thanks
Hello,
Could you explain in more detail how you want the price cards?
Does the price list has to include the line drawings or is it enough with the 3d renders?
Thanks.
Portrait only. Sorry. We have a collection of other brochures we use in our business and have a display being built for our showroom to display these. They are all the same dimensions and this brochure needs to follow suit.
Thank you very much for explaining in detail .
could you please notify the other winers. i mean the top 4 designer.
