Logo Design Brief

I am a sole proprietor in a small rural town. I provide computer consulting and training. Website creation and management.

As you can see on my website, I like the fresh clean look. http://forkswebsitesolutions.com

Even though I have a goofy, techie personality, I deal with a lot of confidential information. So it is important to me to convey a responsible and professional representation to my business.

I often use the initials of my business name, FWS, on my invoices and business correspondence. I have uploaded my current logo, that I made. I like the color and basic style, but feel it is a little too cartoonish.

For a rough idea of the style I like - I found a graphic online that represents my idea of a "stylized" computer monitor. I like it because it is a sketch and not a picture, and it conveys the basic idea of a computer monitor without too much detail.I would like the color(s) of the logo to be green and white, or a combination of the colors found on my home page.I will be using this logo on my letterhead, with the name of company off to the right side - Forks Website Solutions.

Target Market(s)

My target market is my current customers. I want to have a logo that will lend consistency on my invoices and business cards, to make them easily recognizable. I take on new business by referral only, I am not putting the logo on advertising, trying to attract new customers.

Requirements

Must have

• The company abbreviation of FWS needs to be incorporated into the logo. And some type of shape or symbol. I like the idea of a modern or stylized computer monitor, but am open to other techie ideas.
• Use colors from my website at http://forkswebsitesolutions.com/ I like the fresh green color.

Should not have

• Do not want black used in the color, unless it is for shading or shadows.
• Do not like solid color backgrounds.
