Logo Design Brief

This logo will be for a new toy design firm that encourages innovation and great ideas. We want this to logo to be whimsical in a hip way. People will be able to come to the site and present their ideas for new toys.The logo needs to convey the idea of genius in the creation of fun toys.

We want to stay away from standard logo treatments like light bulbs and idea bursts that are typical of standard logos. This needs to be special.

This logo should appeal to largest possible audience and should cross age groups (teenagers and up) and demographics.

All of the world's most beloved toys, from Monopoly to Rubik's Cube, have been developed by people in their homes. We are continuing this tradition by creating a crowd sourced environment where inventors can submit their toys and have people vote on them. We will manufacture sell the products that the crowd loves the most.

Target Market(s)

This site will be directed at two audiences:
1) People who want to share their toy inventions.
2) Anyone in the world who wants to vote on these products and see them brought to market.

Requirements

Must have

• The logo must be fun, colorful, cool and toyetic. Toyetic means that it pertains to toys. The logo doesn't have to have actual toys in it but it does need to be fun and in the spirit of toys.

Nice to have

• We would also really like to have a character that is separate but related to the logo. We don't want it to be a person because that is too limited. We would like it to be a generic but fun character in the spirit of the Minions in the animated movie Despicable Me.
