Logo Design Brief
Since 1990 WeatherVision has produced the on-air TV Weathercasts for TV stations that don't produce their own newscasts or weathercasts. The WeatherVision meteorologist produces the station's local TV weather cast in the WeatherVision studio..and the cast is ftp'd to the station for airing. Each weather cast is customized for the station, including the graphics look the weather forecast content and the stations sponsor branding. In 1994 the Wall Street Journal called WeatherVision
"A true pioneer" for inventing this new niche' in television. We have used the color blue and white over the years, (see old logo included below) but I would like to move in a different direction. We are a tech oriented and futurist leaning company and I would like a logo that imparts that as we do a re-branding for the first time in about 15 years. The logo should hi-tech, the future, and the emerging new media world that we find ourselves providing weathercasts for these days.
