As much as I'd like to have a go at this contest, not quite sure how we are meant to get hold of a high enough res image, if we don't live there and use a camera!
Probably the reason for their not being many entries.

Hello there! Thank you for the invite! I've read through the brief in its entirety, and I'm very excited about working on this design for you. In fact, I already have some creative concepts popping up. I just wanted to be absolutely sure I understood about the UK designer stipulation. From reading the brief, it appears to me that you are indeed welcoming design submissions for DC from anywhere, but the designer's notes in the comments section confused me a bit. I just want to confirm , before I begin work, that I can submit a design for the DC contest even though I'm not a UK designer. I've been to most of these cities a number of times and loved the experience, so I hope it's an opportunity I can participate in!

Sadly we cannot extend the deadline as there is outdoor media booked for the 8 winning entries. Stock photography is not allowed however you could design the city backdrop yourself. This is open to UK designers only as HTC are keen to meet with the winners and the campaign has been set up by HTC UK. Thank you for your quick response. Even though I received an invite form you and then accepted it, I won't proceed with a design or submission then since I'm a US, not UK, designer. Just want to make sure you won't be expecting a design from me. Good luck with your contest and good luck to all you UK designers!

Hi,

It says in the brief that non UK residents are eligible to win the DC contest, but not the actual HTC contest itself.
So does this mean that anyone can submit 1 submission to DC to win the £1000?
And then a UK person wins the HTC contest with whatever their prize is?

I'm working on a concept incase this is right.
