Logo Design Brief

We are a new start up web hosting operation who service the needs of small businesses in Australia... we require a logo for our business.

We want to have the winning logo on our web site, electronic invoices and printed stationary.

A logo which indicates that "we are technical so you don't need to be" type of thing... "we are here to assist your non-technical business to succeed with a web site and email addresses". We are low cost but not low quality and have many service offerings to small businesses.

So, in summary nothing too fancy that would scare people away, a logo inviting to click on or look at and which will display / print well.

The business has no preset colours to adhere to and will adapt it's web site to utilise the colours you have chosen.

We like the idea of a "Pictorial / Combination" logo but with the text included with the logo please. A cleanly readable font should be used.

Target Market(s)

Small businesses with a small number of employees whowish to have their email and web site and web services outsourced. They don't want anything too expensive but they want to offer as many services as their bigger competitors can offer.

• We need a logo which will scale down well to around the 200px X 300px size... it will print well and display well on screen

Should not have

• Nothing too technical looking which might scare off the non-technical person. Simplicity would be the key to this logo.
