Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new consulting company called "City Inspired". We will help governments from all over the world find inspired solutions to the problems facing their communities. Our initial product is a website that aggregates inspired ideas from other places and makes that information available in an fast and digestible manner.

I would like a workmark logo that looks original, unique, inspired, strong, confident, unconventional, and uses imagination but is easy to read. There needs to be a mark(s) or treatment to the typeface that communicates better ideas to solving problems. Think hacker, smart, tech, simple, people before government, user experience.

Not too many colors. Black and white with an accent color is ok. More too, but not too much.

• Some kind of typeface treatment that makes it unique

Nice to have

• It should have a typeface and "hook" to it that represents urban inspiration. Something so cool looking someone would want to draw the typeface on their own.

Should not have

• No badges or emblems. It shouldn't be too cute or literal. It should invoke the idea. Not be it.
