Logo Design Brief

We are in need of a logo for our new business. The name of the Business is Morningstar Midwifery. At the start, it will be a home birth midwifery practice and fertility clinic. Within about a year, we will be adding family care so we won't be attending to just women. Around the same time, the practice will move from being exclusively home birth and will adopt the model of a free standing birth center. You can think of it as a Doctor's office where they have facilities for women to deliver their babies in addition to attending to the general medical needs of the whole family and an fertility clinic. The name of the clinic will be tweaked at this time as well - to something along the lines of Morningstar center for women and family health - we aren't sure what it will be just yet, but it will retain Morningstar in the name.

All services will be concierge services . . .

We selected the name Morningstar because of the name is given to Venus when it appears in the sky at the dawn, the birth of a new day. Venus is the goddess of fertility in Roman mythology, and Morning Star is one of the names given to Mary, Mother of God. We are a Catholic Clinic, but we don't want the Catholicity to be overt.

Women who are looking for a Midwife or ob/gyn provider, those that are interested in a non-hospital birth, and couples with fertility issues.
