"TEDxCharlottesville is looking for a poster design based on the theme “What If”. The poster artwork will also be modified for website elements, programs, animations, and print advertising. Final deliverable will be a 11x17" poster as a Illustrator .AI file, a Layered PSD (layered, 300dpi) with all graphic element source files included (if any, ie. Textured BG). The ideal submission will capture a sense of possibility, exploration and discovery. Designs can be playful, or serious. Designs may use the text “What If”, or may purely be an image. The objective is to convey a the proper feeling and give a sense of excitement and sophistication. The color scheme can vary but should compliment the TEDxCharlottesville logo for overlaying purposes. A guaranteed winner will be chosen.

What is TEDx: In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. TED provides the rules and guidelines, but TEDxCharlottesville is independently organized and executed. Since 2013, TEDxCharlottesvile has participated in the TEDx mission to bring awareness to the rich talent, creativity and innovation found in Charlotteville, Virginia.
