Logo Design Brief

**PROJECT CLOSED** - PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT NEW DESIGNS

I require a logo for a startup group of next generation online social networks. There will eventually be a selection of online social networks within the group, each targeting a different area such as 'Agriculture', 'Logistics & Transport', 'Sport', 'Marketing and Operations' etc. and all will be part of the 'Connectplanet' business group based at www.connectplanet.com, which is currently awaiting design.

Please DO NOT focus on the social network areas listed above as these are only to explain.

The logo should preferably be a solid colour to allow it to be put onto various colour backgrounds. Max 2 colour, incorporating black.

The logo may use the text 'Connect Planet' or a shortened version such as CP, but if the full text is used the logo should also be able to stand alone if the text is removed.

I would prefer not to see a circle of the earth or a planet as I can think of that myself! Although it can be incorporated if it surprises me. Please do not think that 'planet' means environmental, this is not an environmental project and I am not interested in a logo that reminds me of a tree etc.
