Logo Design Brief

We need a brand design for a new startup in Melbourne called 'Learn Presto'.

We're positioning ourselves as simply being "The Flashcards Company" - focused on simply selling traditional flashcards.

'Learn Presto' is about fast ('presto'), fun and friendly learning with traditional flashcards.

The logo needs to become the foundation of the new brand voice we're hoping to establish. (Subsequent need to produce related digital assets such as stationary, website, social platforms' design, etc, to follow)

The final design (and thus the brand voice) needs to be fun, fresh, educational/smart, child/parent friendly and perhaps a little cheeky.

The target audience will mainly be

i. Parents of toddlers & children.
ii. All students of learning in general (astute).

Colors to consider: *Pastel* colors Green, Blue, Orange & Yellow

Supporting Slogan to consider: "The Flashcards Company"

• Separate Logo to Logo Text (see attachment for at least one desired configuration we'd like to see).

Nice to have

• Candidate Logo Ideas to explore:
• 1. Flashcard - Simple & Clean. Like Dominos Icon of Domino's Pizza. Its a clean, simple and obvious that its a domino. Consider a single flashcard or stack or 3 flashcards.
• 2. Head/Brain thinking - Like Lumosity Company Logo/Icon. Illustrates someone is thinking or learning (developing their brain). Perhaps with a floating flashcard(s).
• 3. Wise Owl with Glasses and/or Graduation Hat holding a flashcard - old classic and cliché but its clear its about learning and/or becoming smarter.
• Good opportunity to use pastal colours in logo.
• Naturally open to other variants that reflect the brand voice we're after.

Should not have

• Avoid looking too babyish. Child/Parent friendly but also appeals to students.
