Book Cover Design Brief

Need someone to design a book cover for a book called Sex and Crisis, Athens 2010. The layout needs to be on a 5"x8" with a 0.75" spine and a 1/8" bleed.

In terms of design, something that reflects the books' elements of mystery and politics. The 'crisis' in the books' name refers to the financial crisis, so maybe some letters on the cover could be designed to look like euro's. Some lettering in the form of snakes would be good as well. And some ancient Greek columns in the background might be good. Otherwise I'm open to anything creative that looks professional.
