Business Card Design Brief

Norvell Technologies, LLC is a specialty electrical contractor that is unique in that we span across several facets of the electrical and communication industries. None of the usual card templates are a good fit because they only convey one certain trade. An electrician's design usually shows a light bulb or switch but we are way more than electricians (and don't do residential work), an IT or computer card may show circuit boards or "techy stuff" but we are also very industrial. We also support railroad signal technology and communication tower services such as antenna installation. We have a logo that I pieced together in paintbrush one night years ago that I am rather fond of but I always wanted a more "polished" version. Our primary colors are royal blue and charcoal or gray. We would like the front of the card to have the company name/logo and lines for the usual contact information. The background (and subject of great debate in the office) could be a blend of images or icons that somehow convey who we are and what we do. The back could have a simpler design and needs several lines to list services we offer.
