Logo Design Brief

Black Velvet Coffee Roasters are a boutique coffee company in Melbourne Australia.
We need a logo to go on all of our documents but a huge part of the requirement is to be used on our coffee bags for wholesale purchase.
The design needs to be unique and simple yet not anything to do with coffee beans/coffee machine equipment. A beautiful random image would be perfect. Something that resembles the words, 'Black Velvet'.
Our coffee is rich, full-bodied and luxurious to drink, is at the highest end of quality and this is what we what our logo/image to reflect.
Our flagship store is based on European design with black and white floor tiles, red crockery and custom made flame red espresso machine. It is likely that we will be using black coffee bags, which the design will be printed on. The black/white theme is most appropriate but we are happy to see other options.
