Logo Design Brief

We need a Logo for our residential construction company called "Red Earth Construction LLC" which was founded in 2006. We do roofing, siding, basements, decks, windows and major remodels. "Red Earth" is a concept of Colorado meaning "color red" (which is the color of Colorado ground). Since we build from ground up, it seemed fitting to incorporate that into the name. We help homeowners from concept, floor plans, permits to finished product. We are a family owned company and our slogan is "Our Family serving Your Family". We have over 60 combined years of experience. We are licensed Contractors serving the front range of Colorado and stationed out of Castle Rock, Colorado. I am looking for an Artist to design a Logo I can use on every type of marketing material, from tshirts, brochures, signs to website (www.redearthconstruction.com). Looking for a design that pops out with clean lines (using black, white & red as primary colors). Not opposed to throwing in some green to signify that we are a "green company" using recycled products. The Logo should represent remodeling, also symbolizing new life and growth. Thank you, Jim

Requirements

Must have

• Clean lines, a wow factor, logo popping out (3d or 2d with some features that make it look engraved or independent of any background). The Font style must be easy to read and creative (stay away from decorative & script fonts). I am open to Artist creativity involving the color schemes, look & feel, and design. Red Earth Construction should stand out inside or outside of the Logo. Not opposed to the Logo looking like a badge or a crest.

Nice to have

• Incorporate a theme for the Logo that represents remodeling, new life, growth, a permanent establishment, professional, not too busy in terms of the logo being hard to understand. Drop shadows or half tones are okay but subtle, making the Logo looking professional & clean. Hard lines & Reverse negatives could be introduced for an added feature that makes the Logo stand out.
• The words of Red (color red), Earth (color black) and Construction LLC (either Black, white or gray). Would like to have a bright green leaf growing out of one of the letters in "Earth" or something showing new life. If using a circle like earth, would like that main logo to represent a construction feel.

Should not have

• Do not want the Logo to represent a handy man service, cartoon or small remodeling company that only fixes or repairs things. We are Contractors and not handy men. I also do no like the current Logo I have right now that I uploaded.
