Logo Design Brief

We are a small community group located in Koumala, North Queensland, Australia. We are dedicated to raising funds for the local community and taking on various projects to support and enhance our local area.
Koumala is a little town on the main highway, not far from the coastline. We have a local shop, hotel, post office, school and hall. The surrounding area is mainly sugar cane farms and cattle properties. We have a very popular creek nearby called Rocky Dam Creek and it is renowned for fishing and crabbing.

We would like our logo to represent: sugar cane, braham cattle, fish (maybe a barramundi) and mudcrabs. I attached a file with pictures of these, but I am sure when you google them, you will find photos to help you.

Our logo will be used for letter heads, newsletter, advertising, signs and various other projects. We would like it to be in colour but also look good if we need to print it in black.

The name of our group is: Koumala Progress Association and we also call ourselves KPA.

We are open to the option of having our name included in the logo but it doesn’t have to be.

• Logo can be with or with out text. If including text it can read: Koumala Progress Association OR K.P.A.

• Must not be too busy looking or hard to read/recognize pictures.
