Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our home theater company in West Palm Beach, FL. I would like it to be a character design. I was thinking something like a nutcracker/hotel bellhop boy (something along those lines), someone who would open the enntrance door as you entered the theater. Maybe have a cute hat or something. Make it fun. I want the colors to be a royal looking, somewhat deep purple, same family yellow/gold, and same family pink. TacoBell would be a good example of colors... Maybe a movie ticket incorporated somehow? I don't know... just an idea. I just want a fun theater boy character that says "HEY... WELCOME TO THE MOVIES!!"... kinda feel.
