thanks for your design. I think this a great foundation to start. Nevertheless, I would like to have some changes to make it perfect:

In order to create a more user friendly design, I would like to have the app navigation („Map view“/„Plus view“) directly at the bottom of the view (without sliding to the right/clicking the button in the upper left corner). To do so, I think it is useful to put the navigation in the existing bottom bar. In consequence of this, the other 4 buttons, that I describe in my requirements, should be relocated to the top bar.

The 2nd view („Plus“), which contains the timer, the map and color settings, the photo and note area (->requirements), should be completely separate from the map view. This means, that the view is accessible via the navigation bar.

Please try out some brighter and friendly colors for the bars and buttons
