You have to get bad in order to get good.” There is no great first-time learner. A successful designer must have to deal first with failure and criticism before getting well and be better. Art is meant to provoke thoughts and emotions; the design has to function. As a graphic artist for almost 8 years, art had been my cradle. I had learnt many things as I had encountered frustrations and be able to overcome. As a designer, I know how to excellently communicate a client’s story, brand and idea at the same time, having the skill in presenting and charming in negotiating my work in connection with the client’s objective of art. I also believe that you won’t get far in design if you don’t love art or interest on what’s around you. Designers should have to think what’s outside the box or look beyond the surface of things, to explore every small or big detail of a picture. Curiosity is one of the key successes through art perfection. I also learn that passion and talent is one of the secret in creative industry; design is the labor of love. It entails patience because it requires more time in editing and tricky workloads to come up with a bizarre art with a function. I also learn that open mindedness is needed. I never restricted myself in trying new things and taking pieces of advice, judgments and criticisms from unexpected sources. Great designers must share parts of them especially their hearts. I also do believe that nobody knows it all. It’s good to keep growing, seeking new inspiration and allowing yourself to learn more because life is an unending process of learning. hide
