The challenge is working with a host of other people to meet your client’s objectives. Through experience I have learned that the skill of listening is crucial to understanding the project goals, and that being a team player and perfecting the art of project managing multiple vendors (while managing a tight timeline) is key to a successful product. And of course you have to be a 100% graphic designer to balance colors, copy, type, and images all with a flair to impress the target audience. All combined that is what I have to offer. I’ve been a professional graphic designer for over 22 years. I cut my teeth early in the hectic deadline driven world of print newspapers. Progressing to in-house production management of offset lithography and then onto more corporate endeavors designing for manufacturers. My experience also includes two years working for myself as an independent designer (no weekends off). Recently my career took the path of design and delivery of consumer products to the retail market. This position gave me the opportunity to work at a higher level creating brand messaging and market positioning. This includes designing and maintaining websites, Facebook pages and print collateral for my current clients. Over my career, I’ve occupied all positions of a production team, from creating basic design to team coordination, market identification, brand identification to product fielding. hide
